Member's Hour: Real Talk for AIIM Members

Member’s Hour is time set aside just for AIIM+ and AIIM+ Pro members. No sales pitches, no vendor decks. Just time with your peers to think through problems, share what you're learning, and get real answers from other information professionals.

Join your peers for member-only, exclusive conversations

Member's Hour are virtual events. We run five different formats of Member's Hour. Some are structured, some are loose, and all of them are built around actual conversation instead of a one-way presentation.

Member's Hour: Think Tank

A small group of members working together to build something the whole industry can use: a template, a framework, a set of guidance that doesn't exist yet. Think Tank projects run one to three sessions, with a total time commitment capped at 5 hours, so it's a real contribution without becoming a second job. Everyone who works on it is credited as an author when the resource is published. These sessions are not recorded.

Member's Hour: Coffee Chat

No agenda, no slides, just members catching up on what's happening in their world. Good for the days when you need less structure and more conversation. These sessions are not recorded.

Member's Hour: Critical Conversations

A fireside chat built around one pressing, sometimes provocative question, the kind most people are thinking about but nobody wants to say out loud. These sessions are not recorded, so you can say what you actually think.

Member's Hour: Spotlight

One idea, explored in depth. A member or outside expert shares original work, whether that's a dissertation, a research report, or a framework they've been developing, and then opens it up for questions. If you want to go deep on a single topic with the person who built it, this is the one to attend.

Member's Hour: The Download (Formerly Book Club)

We take a book, article, or video and talk through it as a group. You don't need to have read or watched the whole thing beforehand. Someone gives the rundown, and from there it's a real discussion about what's useful, what's overhyped, and what you'd actually apply to your own work.
