THE BASICS

About the Summit

Who we are, what the Summit is, and where and when it happens.

Who is AIIM?

The Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM) has been advancing the information management industry since 1944. Today, AIIM helps organizations manage information with and for artificial intelligence through certification, education, research, networking, and community. We represent a global community of information leaders committed to better business outcomes through intelligent information management.

What is the AI+IM Global Summit?

The AI+IM Global Summit is AIIM's annual event for information management professionals, formerly known as the AIIM Conference. 2027 marks the Summit's fourth year. The new name reflects a bigger vision: bringing artificial intelligence and information management together, and giving information leaders the knowledge, connections, and confidence to put emerging technology to work.

Where is the 2027 Summit?

The AI+IM Global Summit 2027 takes place in Houston, Texas, at the JW Marriott Houston by The Galleria, 5150 Westheimer Road. See Plan Your Trip for hotel and travel details.

When is the 2027 Summit?

The Summit runs nearly three full days, April 19–21, 2027. See "What is the Summit schedule?" below for daily start and end times.

Is there a virtual option?

No. The Summit is designed for in-person engagement, with interactive sessions, cohort work, and networking you can only get in the room. If you can't join us in Houston, AIIM offers virtual events throughout the year, including webinars and interactive member hours.
REGISTRATION

Registration & Pricing

Rates, discounts, what's included, and how payments and refunds work.

How much does registration cost?

Pricing goes up after each deadline, so the earlier you register, the more you save.

  • Early Bird (October 15 – November 30, 2026): $1,095

  • Standard (December 1, 2026 – February 15, 2027): $1,395

  • Final (February 16 – April 20, 2027): $1,630

What's included with my registration?

Your pass includes access to all sessions from April 19–21, 2027 (some sessions have limited seating), cohort placement, networking events and social activities, and meals and snacks throughout the Summit.

Do you offer one-day or exhibit-only passes?

No. The richest Summit experience comes from going all in, start to finish. Instead of a separate exhibit hall, the Solutions Showcase is set up around the main session room, so you can meet solution providers and see demos between sessions without missing a moment.

Can I pay by invoice?

Of course. Email hello@aiim.org with your registration details and invoicing instructions, including a PO number if your organization requires one. Invoice terms are net 30, and your registration is confirmed once payment is received. All registration fees must be paid in full by April 1, 2027.

How do I get my receipt?

Your receipt is attached to your registration confirmation email. Need another copy? Email hello@aiim.org and we'll resend it.

What is the refund policy?

  • Through January 31, 2027: 100% refund

  • February 1 – 28, 2027: 70% refund of the rate paid

  • March 1, 2027, and after: no refunds

Cancellations must be made in writing to hello@aiim.org. If AIIM has to cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control, registrations aren't refundable but will transfer to a future AI+IM Global Summit. See the full Terms and Conditions for details.

Can I transfer my registration?

Yes. If you can't attend, you can send a colleague in your place. Email the substitution request to hello@aiim.org by April 12, 2027, seven days before the Summit opens.

Where can I read the full terms?

Read the complete AI+IM Global Summit 2027 Terms and Conditions, including payment, cancellation, and substitution policies.
HOTEL & TRAVEL

Hotel & Travel

Where to stay, how to book, and how to get to Houston. See Plan Your Trip for more.

Is there a hotel room block?

Yes. AIIM has a room block at the JW Marriott Houston by The Galleria for Saturday through Wednesday nights at $219 per night, plus taxes and fees. The group rate may also be available up to three days before and after, based on availability. Book by March 27, 2027, using the link in your registration confirmation email or the Book Your Room link on the Plan Your Trip page. Once the block is full, we can't add rooms, so we encourage you to register and book early.

How do I change my hotel reservation?

Contact the hotel directly to make any changes. Your reservation confirmation comes from the hotel, so use the details in that email.

Which airport should I fly into?

Either Houston airport works. William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is about 16.6 miles from the hotel, and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is about 26.6 miles away. The hotel doesn't offer an airport shuttle, so plan on a rideshare, taxi, or rental car.
THE PROGRAM

Program & Cohorts

The schedule, the sessions, and how your cohort fits in.

What is the Summit schedule?

All times are Central Time (CT).

  • Monday, April 19, 2027: 9:00 a.m. general session through the evening reception, which ends at 7:00 p.m.

  • Tuesday, April 20, 2027: 8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

  • Wednesday, April 21, 2027: 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

We're adding agenda details as they're confirmed, so check back often.

When will the full agenda be available?

We're continuously adding sessions, and the website always reflects our latest plans. Session booking opens in the event app on April 5, 2027, before you arrive in Houston.

What types of sessions can I expect?

Expect real-world examples from practitioners who've solved information management challenges firsthand. Sessions are built for participation, with discussions, hands-on workshops, and plenty of chances to learn from your peers.

What are cohorts?

A cohort is a small group of attendees matched by shared interests, roles, and challenges. Your cohort gives you a built-in community to learn with, trade ideas, and support each other throughout the Summit. You'll connect with your cohort during breakout sessions, group discussions, and networking events.

How do I join a cohort?

After you register, we'll email you a link to a short questionnaire that helps match you with your cohort. Each cohort has a facilitator and meets virtually once before the Summit and once after, on Rallyboard via Zoom, with calendar invites sent in advance. Your facilitator also leads your cohort's onsite gatherings.

Do I have to stay with my cohort?

No, it's up to you. Your cohort is there so you always have a team of like-minded peers to bounce ideas off, but you're free to build your own Summit journey. Wednesday's program includes facilitated time with your cohort.

This is my first Summit. Any tips?

Welcome! We love new faces and fresh energy. Your cohort includes past attendees who can answer questions, so you'll have familiar faces from the moment you arrive. You can also email hello@aiim.org any time.

Can I earn CEUs?

Yes. You'll earn 13 AIIM CIP CEUs for attending the AI+IM Global Summit 2027.
