AI+IM Global Summit 2027
Terms & Conditions

By entering or otherwise participating in the AI+IM Global Summit on April 19–21, 2027 ("Summit"), I, as an attendee of the Summit, signify my agreement to the following terms and conditions:

Registration & Payment

• Full prepayment of the Registration Fee must be received by AIIM by April 1, 2027, in order for my Summit registration to be valid.

Cancellations & Refunds

• One hundred percent (100%) of the Registration Fee is refundable if I cancel my registration, in writing, by January 31, 2027.
• Cancellations received between February 1, 2027, and February 28, 2027, will be granted a 70% refund of the price paid.
• No refunds of any portion of the Registration Fee will be made for cancellations received on or after March 1, 2027.

Substitutions

• I may make Summit registrant name changes up to seven (7) days before the opening day of the Summit (April 12, 2027). Name changes must be made in writing to AIIM and acknowledged by AIIM, or completed by me on the AIIM Summit website.

Communications & Data Sharing

• I agree that AIIM may include my name, company information, and contact information in the Summit internet and mobile apps. I also consent to receiving Summit-related emails, text messages, and other electronic communications.
• I consent to AIIM and JW Marriott Houston by the Galleria sharing information relating to my stay at the hotel (should this be my accommodation choice). JW Marriott Houston by the Galleria complies with the Marriott Group Global Privacy Statement.

By registering for this event, I consent to receiving communications from AIIM about this event and other related activities that may be of interest to me. I also consent to having my contact information, including my email address, passed on to the limited sponsors of this event who scan my badge or whose content I interact with on the event app or event websites, for the purpose of following up on my interest in their products and services. When registering for this event, I acknowledge that my contact information will be entered into AIIM's event registration system, event apps, and websites.

Conduct & Safety

As a condition of participating in and attending the Summit, I agree to conduct myself in a safe and orderly manner. I represent that I have made an independent decision to attend and participate in the Summit.

AIIM, Summit management, and all related personnel reserve the right to refuse admission to any person and to remove any person from the Summit for any reason at any time.

I will not bring into the Summit any signs, message boards, or other articles that could obstruct others.

Dangerous or hazardous items are not permitted within the Summit, and such items may be confiscated. Any person in possession of such items may be refused entry or removed from the Summit.

Summit personnel reserve the right to search all persons and personal property at the Summit.

Health & Wellbeing

I agree that I am responsible for my own health, wellbeing, and personal safety at the Summit.

I understand that travel and gathering involve a risk of sickness, including sickness from COVID-19. I waive and release AIIM and its alliance partners and industry partners, and their employees and agents, from and against claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from injury, sickness, or death from the contraction or spread of COVID-19 or other communicable disease due to travel to or attendance at an event hosted by AIIM.

This waiver and release are binding on me and on my heirs and successors.

Photography & Recording

I give my express consent to the use of my likeness in connection with the production, exhibition, advertising, or exploitation of any picture, photo, film, video, and/or audio recording of the Summit, and/or any element thereof, in any and all media throughout the world.

Liability & Assumption of Risk

Neither AIIM, Summit management, the owner of the JW Marriott Houston by the Galleria, nor any affiliate thereof (including, without limitation, the respective parties' officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, and representatives) is responsible for personal injury or for property damaged, lost, or stolen at or in connection with the Summit.

I acknowledge and fully understand that participation in or attendance at the Summit may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by: (a) the actions, inactions, or negligence of AIIM, Summit management, the owner of the JW Marriott Houston by the Galleria, or any affiliate thereof (including, without limitation, the respective parties' officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, and representatives); and (b) conditions of the Summit venues. I further acknowledge and fully understand that there may also be other risks that are not known or foreseeable at this time. I KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISK OF PROPERTY LOSS AND PERSONAL INJURY THAT MAY OCCUR BY ATTENDING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE SUMMIT AND HEREBY FOREVER RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS AIIM, SUMMIT MANAGEMENT, THE OWNER OF THE JW MARRIOTT HOUSTON BY THE GALLERIA, OR ANY AFFILIATE THEREOF (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE RESPECTIVE PARTIES' OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, CONTRACTORS, AND REPRESENTATIVES) FROM ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM SUCH RISK, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF AIIM, SUMMIT MANAGEMENT, THE OWNER OF THE JW MARRIOTT HOUSTON BY THE GALLERIA, OR ANY AFFILIATE THEREOF (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE RESPECTIVE PARTIES' OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, CONTRACTORS, AND REPRESENTATIVES), OR BY THIRD PARTIES, AND I ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR MY ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION IN THE SUMMIT.

Force Majeure

The AI+IM Global Summit and AIIM's performance are subject to force majeure, meaning events and circumstances including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, government regulation, disaster, fire, strikes, unavailability of venues, severe weather conditions, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, illness or injury, disease outbreak, terrorism, threats of any of the foregoing, or any similar cause or circumstance beyond the control of AIIM that makes it illegal, impossible, impracticable, or commercially inadvisable for AIIM to hold the Summit, or that materially impacts AIIM's ability to perform. Should the Summit be terminated or impacted due to a force majeure event or circumstance beyond the control of AIIM, AIIM shall have no liability to me, and any payment I have made to AIIM will not be refunded to me but will be transferable to a later AI+IM Global Summit.

Severability & Governing Law

These terms and conditions, including, without limitation, all waivers and releases herein, shall be construed broadly. If any part of any provision of these terms and conditions, including, without limitation, the waivers and releases herein, is invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that part shall be ineffective only to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability, without in any way affecting the remaining parts of that provision or the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without reference to or application of its rules governing conflicts of law. In addition, all disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in a state or federal court in the State of Maryland, and I agree, solely for purposes of this Agreement, to submit to the personal jurisdiction of that court. These terms and conditions may be executed and delivered by facsimile or electronic signature and transmission. I EXPRESSLY WAIVE TRIAL BY JURY IN ANY ACTION IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT.
