AI+IM Global Summit 2027

 


At the AI+IM Global Summit, we're seeking practical, forward-thinking sessions that address our community's most pressing challenges while exploring emerging opportunities.  
 
Our goal is to create an engaging program that delivers real value to our community through focused, educational content aligned with AIIM's strategic priorities.  

What We're Looking For

The AI+IM Global Summit is an event for information professionals by information professionals. We depend on volunteers to facilitate cohorts, review sessions, and define the final program. All volunteers receive a discount to the event. You can speak and volunteer, but should submit a separate session proposal. 

Here's what you need to know before you apply:

Who Can Volunteer

You need to be a current AIIM member. Once you apply, AIIM staff and volunteer leadership review every application and match volunteers to roles based on what the event needs, so signing up doesn't guarantee you'll land in the specific role you asked for.

Volunteer Roles

  • Facilitator — You'll lead virtual and in-person cohort meetings, keeping the conversation on track and making sure everyone gets something out of the discussion. You'll attend facilitator training first. About 10 hours total.

  • Peer Reviewer — You'll read and score 20+ session proposals, helping shape what makes it onto the program. You'll attend reviewer training first. About 10-15 hours total.

  • Task Force — You'll review the scored sessions, help select which sessions and keynotes make the final program, and give feedback on how the whole program comes together. About 10 hours total.

What We Ask of You

  • Follow through on your role's responsibilities, including any required training
  • Stay in touch with your AIIM staff or volunteer coordinator
  • Hit the deadlines that come with your role
  • Follow AIIM's Code of Conduct throughout the event

Your Registration Discount

Peer Reviewers get their discount code after finishing their session reviews. Facilitators and Task Force members get theirs in November or December 2026. If you don't follow through on what your role asks of you, AIIM can cancel or withhold your discount.

By submitting your application, you're agreeing to our terms and conditions for volunteers.

We aim to send notifications to everyone who submitted by November 15, 2026.
