AI+IM Global Summit Cohorts

Information management is complex work. You should not have to navigate it alone.

Cohorts are a defining experience of the AI+IM Global Summit, designed to connect you with peers who understand your challenges and goals. In 2025, 75% of participants rated their cohort experience as very good or excellent.

When you participate in a cohort, you go beyond attending sessions. You gain context, perspective, and practical insight you can apply immediately.

Register early—cohort matching is first come, first served.

What are Cohorts

Cohorts are small, pre-assigned groups of 8–10 Summit participants who connect before, during, and after the event. Each cohort brings together professionals with shared interests, roles, and challenges to support deeper learning and meaningful peer exchange.

“The response to Cohorts was overwhelmingly positive last year. Participants told us they loved the focused conversations, peer learning, and practical takeaways. Cohorts are the hallmark of the AI+IM Global Summit and, this year, we’ve enhanced cohorts with AI matching and virtual cohort meetings before and after the event. I invite you to join the conversation and experience the difference for yourself.”

President & CEO, AIIM

Who Leads the Cohorts?

Each cohort is led by a facilitator who is a subject matter expert in intelligent information management.

Your facilitator:
- Guides discussion and conversation
- Helps orient you to the Summit experience
- Connects you with peers, ideas, and resources

Think of your facilitator as your Summit concierge, helping ensure you get the most value from your time and investment.

Your Cohort Experience, Step by Step

Your cohort journey spans the full Summit lifecycle, providing continuity and connection throughout the experience.

Before the Summit: Virtual Connections

After registering, you will receive a link to complete a short Cohort Intake Form through AIIM’s cohort software provider, Rallyboard. This takes just a few minutes and helps us understand your interests, role, industry, and availability.

AIIM uses AI-assisted matching, reviewed by AIIM staff, to place you in the best possible cohort. Matching occurs on February 23 and March 30, with a final match for late registrants closer to the event.

You will receive a welcome message from Rallyboard introducing you to your cohort and facilitator.

Virtual Meeting 1 | March 1–31 (45 minutes)
Meet your cohort, share introductions, discuss challenges, and begin building relationships.

Virtual Meeting 2 | April 1–24 (45 minutes)
Plan your Summit strategy, identify priority sessions, develop shared questions, and schedule your post-Summit meeting.

Between meetings, cohorts can connect via chat within Rallyboard.

During the Summit: Onsite Engagement

Each cohort has a designated table at the event, making it easy to reconnect and continue conversations.

Onsite Meeting 1 | Monday, April 28 (30 minutes)
Reconnect in person, welcome new members, and confirm your plan for the event.

Onsite Meeting 2 | Tuesday, April 29 (45 minutes)
Share Day 1 takeaways and identify key sessions and themes for Day 2.

Onsite Meeting 3 | Wednesday, April 30 (70 minutes)
Reflect on the overall experience, synthesize learning, and commit to one to three actions to take back to work.

After the Summit: Apply and Stay Connected

Post-Summit Virtual Meeting | May 4–29 (45 minutes)
Reconnect with your cohort to discuss how you are applying key takeaways and explore opportunities to stay connected beyond the event.

AI-Powered Summaries and Insights

All cohort meeting notes are summarized using AI and made available in your Rallyboard cohort portal. AIIM will also incorporate anonymized cohort insights into its post-event compendium, extending the value of cohort conversations to the broader Summit community.

Make the Most of Your Summit Experience

Cohorts are included with Summit registration and are one of the most impactful ways to maximize your learning, connections, and outcomes.
