Bio

I am an Information Management consultant. My focus is more on the business and functional side than it is on the technical / product side of information management solutions. I work with public and private sector clients in a variety of industries in North America and Europe. My job is to provide solutions, not documentation. I believe that information is a valuable asset and my goal is to help organizations leverage its full potential. Risk and compliance are real fears, however, I focus on the value and benefits of information management; I don't let fear take over. In addition to my consulting work I actively, but quietly, support AIIM (I'm an AIIM Ambassador) and ARMA Canada (I've co-presented and presented a few times). I am a firm believer in the value of AIIM training (I currently have three Master certifications) and actively encourage clients and colleagues to join AIIM, take appropriate training, and take advantage of the various AIIM resources that are available. I don't claim to be an expert, nor filled with original thoughts; I just hope that what I write makes sense to some and provides something to think about, discuss, or take action on. If you have any specific topics that you'd like to see addressed feel free to let me know and I'll see what I can do.
