Dr. Johannes C. Scholtes is Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer of ZyLAB. From 1987 to 2009, Johannes was President/CEO of ZyLAB. He has been involved in deploying in-house e-discovery software with organization such as the UN War Crimes Tribunals, the FBI-ENRON investigations, the EOP (White House), and thousands of other users worldwide. Before joining ZyLAB in 1989, Johannes was a lieutenant in the intelligence department of the Royal Dutch Navy. Johannes holds a MS degree in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology and a PhD in Computational Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam. As of 2008, he holds the extra-ordinary Chair in Text Mining from the Department of Knowledge Engineering at the University of Maastricht. He joined the AIIM board of directors in January of 2010.
