Currently I am enrolled in the SJSU SLIS working on a masters degree in LIS. I discovered AIIM while researching various information science organizations for a class project. I don't have a traditional library background and my interest is more in information science than in librarianship. I worked for the past 7 years as the liaison between the technology department and program department for a local government agency in Los Angeles. During that time I realized it was imperative that I improve my information science skills to be a better intermediary for information seekers and information technology architects. I look forward to learning from AIIM members and to contributing to the AIIM community as well.
