Bio

I joined AIIM in 2012 as the Chief Information Officer where I am working to bring the Information systems supporting the AIIM Community to the leading edge of the industry. Prior to joining AIIM, I spent nearly two decades as a consultant helping organization develop and implement strategies for managing their disparate information. I've led a wide-range of efforts including content digitization, Records Management, BPM, and Collaboration for both the commercial and public sectors. More recent efforts focused on when and how best to move Information systems to the cloud. A graduate of Auburn University, I am the author of the blog Word of Pie and contribute to multiple publications in the industry. I am an active member of AIIM where I am a leading proponent of the Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) standard. I regularly speaks on Information Standards and the future of Content and Information Management.
