Bio
For the past 13 years, I have been dedicated to content management. For the 10 years before my current position, I was focused on innovatively using technology for business (that continues today). During my time at UAMS, I have been charged with formulating and defining the scope and objectives of our system -- and UAMS is established as a national leader in Content Management. Like many IT professionals, I have a myriad of duties: devise/modify procedures to solve complex problems relating to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results; facilitate and lead project management tasks such as software implementation, application maintenance, application troubleshooting, software upgrades, software testing, custom form design, and/or custom report writing implementation, administration, training and hardware support for Documentum ApplicationXtender Package.
I have spoken at national conferences on a variety of topics, including Content Management and Web strategies. I live in Little Rock, Arkansas.
I've been fortunate to receive a number of awards:
UAMS OHR department was awarded the Successful Practices Award in 2007 presented by the Arkansas Council for the Society for Human Resources Management for the innovation related to the electronic file system we have here at UAMS within Human Resources.
EMC Area E 2007 Information Nation Award
Received 2008 Computerworld Honors Program Laureate Award in Education & Academia
