Blake E. Richardson, CIP,CRM
General
Blake has been a part of the records and information management profession for 15 years. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University. He has served as records manager for CNA Insurance and the Dollar General Corporation. He is currently employed as the manager of records for Safeway Inc.
Blake obtained his CRM (Certified Records Manager) designation in 2005 and currently serves on the ICRM Legislative and Appeals Committee. He has been a member of ARMA International since 1999. During this time he was appointed leader of the Insurance and Financial ISG (Industry Specific Group). In addition, he served as a member of ARMA’s Core Competencies Committee. Blake has served on the ARMA Board of Directors for the Music City and Arizona Chapters.
Family
Blake has been married to his wife Kelli for 21 years. They have a 17 year old son, Raleigh and a 13 year old daughter, Molly. Blake and his family moved from Nashville, TN to Surprise, AZ in 2006.

Blake believes that one of the most important and pressing RIM issues faced by most organizations is the lack of visibility and management of information due to the number of disparate organizational repositories.
