After receiving my diploma in Mathematics from University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, in 1982, I worked as a CAD software programmer, Pre-Sales Consultant and Trainer for Unix Workstations, and Project Manager in CAE-Software development and Windows Systems Management. For some years now I'm managing a team of specialists that provides CAE and CAPE software and services to the engineers and operators in a large, world-wide acting, chemical company. I'm interested in Cloud Computing, Sharepoint, ISO15926, Data Centric CAE/CAD Software, Meta Data Models, and in Document Management of course. Document Management is of great importance for the complete life cycle of chemical plant engineering and operation even today, when we move from document based to data based workflows and processes.
