Hanns Köhler-Krüner, Research Director at Gartner for Content, Collaboration & Social, has more than 17 years of industry experience in marketing and selling content management and workflow solutions for both software and hardware vendors throughout Europe. In the last few years, Hanns has helped both national as well as international companies manage their information assets in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as various Eastern European countries. He has held both national as well as international roles as project manager and consultant. His main areas of interest are traditional Enterprise Content Management combined with Social Media and Enterprise 2.0, but the opportunities as well as the challenges associated with letting go of the traditional hierarchy in Information Management. Hanns was a freelance consultant and AIIM Training Partner, member of the Board of Directors at Document@Work Belgium, Vice-chair of the VOI International in Germany, and Member of the Advisory Board of RIMAF in Africa. Hanns holds a doktorandis degree from the Free University of Amsterdam. Hanns is CDIA+ qualified as well as an AIIM certified ECM and ERM, IOA, BPM, and Enterprise 2.0 Qualified.
