Bio
Priscilla Emery is President and founder of ECM Scope (aka e-Nterprise Advisors), a provider of custom consulting and analysis services to Fortune 1000, government agencies and high technology companies. With over 30 years of technology experience her areas of expertise include imaging, document, records and e-mail management and other technologies in the enterprise content management (ECM) landscape. Prior to establishing ECM Scope, she was Senior VP of Information Products and Services for AIIM International where she was responsible for the development and delivery of publications and market research to AIIM members and associates. Before that, Ms. Emery was VP and Director of Gartner’s Electronic Workplace Technologies research center and New Science’s Intelligent Document Management service. As a visionary industry analyst, her insights have been sought after for their clarity and applicability to address the real world problems user organizations experience with managing all kinds of unstructured information. Prior to her industry analyst experience Priscilla worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Connecticut (now Wellpoint), American Can Company / Primerica (now part of Citicorp), Combustion Engineering (now ABB), Blue Cross / Blue Shield of Virginia (now Anthem), Frito Lay, and Bell Telephone Laboratories. Most of these positions involved the introduction of new technologies into the fabric of the company and making sure they provided a reasonable return on investment for the effort made. All of these efforts involved the management of change (both emotional and technological) and Ms Emery continues to use these experiences to guide her consulting efforts for her present day clients. She has been frequently quoted in industry publications and has been a speaker at many industry events. Ms. Emery holds MIT and LIT for Electronic Imaging designations from AIIM International, is an AIIM Fellow, acquired AIIM’s ERM Specialist designation, was an advisor to EDSF and is a member of ARMA. Her most recent publication is the Electronic Records Management Software Buyer's Guide published by AIIM.
