Just a quick note - something for all you capture folks to think about.
What do you (as a scan operator) do when the system is down?
We have an excellent uptime but recently had about 4 hours of downtime during production due to a failing disk array. A couple of my scanners expressed frustration that they had nothing to do...
So, what do you do?
As an admin, I'd ask that you don't slam the system with thousands of records the minute it comes back up. :) But, what do you do?
