The first screen shot is why document management systems never really meet sales estimates. Also why only a few wind up entering in the docs as most folks won't do it with a gun to their head.

Screen shot #2 is why there is hope.

This is possible in SharePoint with Colligo Contributor

If you're using SharePoint and Colligo Contributor, drag-and-drop is the standard way of filing, whether it's files via Windows Explorer to SharePoint document libraries, or emails via Outlook to SharePoint document libaries connected in the Outlook folder tree. It's simple, intuitive and definitely helps drive adoption.
