Next time we will talk about the cardinal virtues, but today let us pause for a moment about the seven deadly sins , and especially their ability to "to be harmful to" some 2.0 projects and more globally to the process of deployment and implementation of the Enterprise 2.0 including Enterprise Social Networks.

Pride (superbia):
Humility is a success factor for project managers in charge of  2.0 solutions within the enterprise.
The collaborative does not successfully implemented in yelling or by ordering
in a top-down process.
Very often these projects are simple, pragmatic, but carrying a very high value, around which managers must CONVINCE employees and partners to be involved!

Greed (avaritia):
In the Model 2.0, profitability is obvioulsy the goal, but the way is different
from what we have experienced in the business more "traditional".
There is no contradiction between wanting to "make money" and refuse avarice.
With enterprise social networking, information, knowledge are shared and we have to  to fight against the wishes of ownership of information by some and its
preservation for solely personal.

Envy (invidia):
Contribution, exchange, shares, are the hallmarks of the new tools at our
disposal to serve our projects, our colleagues, our partners and customers.
Without going to the denial (which nobody asked, nor even desired), we must
learn to consider the contribution of the others like so many advantages and
does not remain guided by envious attitudes as much dangerous than
inefficient.

Wrath (ira):
"Anger is a bad advisor" and it is well known.
In the Model 2.0, it has no place!
Not that we must see in 2.0 initiatives a way for the ultimate recovery of a "soft and universal consensus", but much more like experiments and projects in which patience and respect for others are full of meaning.
Let it be said, the 2.0 is not a model fo autocrats neither than for angry people (often the same)

Lust (luxuria):
Finally, here we are!
While discovering the title, some of you were already impatient to read what follows!
It is true that for this sin, this exercise could take the high-flying, so I will try
to dodge the question skilfully.!
The model 2.0 can be a source of satisfaction for those who participate but
we must not consider this satisfaction, or even the fact of being "2.0" as an end
in itself.
2.0 is a human centric model! The objectives of each are quite different and their achievement is at a pace well below that of a frantic quest sensual!

Gluttony (gull):
Keeping it simple and convenient!
The changes brought by new tools and behaviors they promote are deep and will likely require more than a generation to be "visible" everywhere.
You should know to keep the measurement
Projects disproportionate, excessive or just those implemented haphazardly, with a certain blindness (or at least ignorance) are doomed to failure!

Sloth (acedia)
The conduct of change requires a personal and intellectual investment but also a strong vision and a real ethics
Far from lazy attitudes, projects 2.0 require true leaders capable of making people
eager to move ahead and "boarding" with them, on projects clear, the appropriate, resources, helpful and "volunteer."
Enterprise 2.0 is a model based on personal involvement (sometimes beyond the
role), in which you COMMIT!
