I am not sure if this is appropriate for this discussion forum or not, but I figured I'd put it out there.

I have been working in the ECM/BPM space for 5 years. I manage a team of business process analysts, business systems analysts, and software engineers. We are located in Reno, NV. I have been lucky to hire from very good people, but none of them really had the background I'm looking for as it relates to business process management.

I always meet awesome people at AIIM, Forrester and Gartner conferences. However, whenever it comes time to hire, we have trouble locating those people. Is it just that they are in high-demand? I know Reno isn't San Francisco, Boston or NYC, but it's a great town that is right next to Lake Tahoe. So it can't be just location. I just don't know where to look. So I am trying this avenue to see if anyone has any recommendations.

Are there sites, organizations, communities I can leverage to get the word out?
