Practice Guide - How to make a consistent and lean ERM guide in the E2.0 world?

Some years ago we (4 authors) published a practitioners guide on ERM here in Switzerland, 2nd ed. came out 2 years ago. I am always getting questions from people who would like to get a new version with "streamlined" content or something with a more cook-book like or checklist character. I've been thinking about different forms, however, I am always back to the book because no other form of publication seems to fulfill the requirements of the potential user more. Important: I am not talking about a book with 10 different individual articles! But writing a quality book is a very time consuming task and requires a lot of dedication, time and money. However, in the electronic world, including this Wiki I just don't get the necessary consistence and quality I would expect. Although most article are of good quality, they are written by different people with different background, which is excellent but doesn't solve my problem. So what do I need? I need a form of guided wiki with a clear goal, e.g. "Implementing a digital signature based archiving solution" which has a senior auditor and a clear structure from the beginning. Or the top down approach where there is a top level structure and different topics will be developed by dedicated teams. But not necessarily in printed book form. Yes, this sounds like a real project, maybe this is the only way how to achieve the result I have in mind. Ideas are welcome!
