Dear all,

Do any of you out there have any robust data to compare the environmental impact of sending paper bills versus their electronic versions to our customers?

I am interested in carbon footprint as well as more general impacts, positive or negative of both methods of communicating with our customers. It is a complex area with most companies making bold and unquantified claims, and it is sometimes hard to see the wood for the trees - no pun intented...
