Has anyone experience in Management by Social Media?

I am interested in using social media within a project environment and looking for examples.

PPM Management and Control
What should it provide? I would like to include communications via mobile phone and what I am looking for is how social media could help identify and share dependencies, manage issues and risks and how it could be used to manage stakeholders.
