Dear Community Members,

Our inhouse document management system is trying to add a feature where users can preview jpg of their docx/pptx files. Additionally we are also planning to allow users to publish docx/pptx files as pdf so that it minimizes the risk of multiple versions of the same document floating around.

We starting evaluating Aspose but have seen some issues with Smart Art rendering. Even Open Office had some issues with the same. We are preferably looking for a low cost (not necessarily freeware) api based software that does such conversions.

Can you help pointing out to a recent comparative study of such softwares or a case study/personal experience where this conversion was done successfully
