Just look at the news and you will see that Mother Nature is letting us know she is here. Fires in the midwest and hurricane force winds with extensive flooding in the southeast of the US remind us that at anytime, disaster could strike. Living in Florida, I have seen this first hand this week with flood waters rising 4 feet or more in less than an hour along the gulf coast.

So the question is one of being ready. Not just personally but from a business perspective, how would your organization react to something of this scale? Are you ready?  Could you recover and if so, how quickly?

Please keep all of those folks impacted by these events in your thoughts. I would also like to hear from you regarding how you plan and prepare for disaster.
