Choosing the Right ECM Solution

Sometimes, we are asked to anonymously post questions for people. Here's an interesting one:

Anybody knows of any articles, blog posts or toolkits addressing what's important for choosing the right ECM solution for the future, e.g. support for mobile, support of CMIS, support for cloud/SaaS, and simplicity of use? I am looking for a list of items, and this will help a big bank develop an RFI (Request for Information) for a 10 million USD ECM solution!
