I do not know if there is any Best Practices available for e-Correspondence strategy and solution for Government

I would really like to find out more about Correspondence Management solutions and best practices. Why is it not something well discussed like Email Management ? I think e-Correspondence Management is the natural logical step for organisations after establishing an ECM solution in place.
