Welcome to the Rocky Mountain AIIM User Group!

AIIM is the community that provides education, research, and best practices to help organizations find, control, and optimize their information.  We are committed to the advancement of ECM technologies and best practices by providing professional development and networking opportunities to all AIIM members in our community.

The Board of Directors has listened to the requests of the membership based on the survey that was taken last year.  Based on the results, we set three major goals for ourselves:

1)    Increase awareness of the Rocky Mountain AIIM chapter and the AIIM membership and attendance to our monthly meetings;

2)    Provide a central location for our monthly lunch meetings to allow members from across the metro area easier access (north, south, east and west); and

3)    Provide highly educational programs presented by members from various companies sharing their experiences with us from their ECM projects and by experts in the various fields of expertise.

To address the 1st initiative to continue to expand membership, we are going to use various lists available (including the AIIM International list), in addition to encouraging members to invite their peers to the meetings.   If an existing AIIM member brings another person to the meeting from an end user company, they will be able to attend the meeting for Free!  So start thinking of all of the people you know that really should be attending our educational monthly meetings!  Also we believe there will be several reduced membership fees offered by AIIM International.

To achieve our 2nd initiative, we have found a central location for our monthly lunch meetings at the Ramada Inn at I-25 andSpeer Blvd.  It is literally within yards of the highway and has free parking!  This should help our attendees be able to get to our meetings from all locations across the metro area.

Based on our list of meeting agendas, the speakers and the sponsors, you should see that the 3rd initiative has had considerable thought put into it to fully support the AIIM directive to provide educational events to our members.

The Board of Directors is excited and looking forward to this year’s AIIM events and hope that you too will learn a lot, network a lot, and enjoy the food!
