AIIM’s Cornhusker Chapter
Welcomes 2008 Board of Directors
The AIIM’s Cornhusker Chapter
held their first board meeting on July 16, 2008. At this meeting, their new
Board of Directors were announced: President, Larry Fritz;
Vice-President/President-Elect, Bill Lang; Secretary, Tammy Kaup; Treasurer,
Brian M. Kirkpatrick; Communications, Jennifer Bartelt; Membership, Patrick
Barrett; Program Chair, Douglas Belsaas; Program Committee, Dave Hess; and
Program Committee, Rhonda Wagner. AIIM is the international authority on
Enterprise Content Management (ECM), the technologies used to capture, manage,
store, preserve, and deliver content and documents related to organizational
processes. ECM tools and technologies provide solutions to help users with the
four Cs of business: continuity, collaboration, compliance, and costs.
For over 60 years, AIIM has been
the leading non-profit organization focused on helping users to understand the
challenges associated with managing documents, content, records, and business
processes. Today, AIIM is international in scope, independent,
implementation-focused, and, as the representative of the entire ECM industry -
including users, suppliers, and the channel as the industry’s intermediary. As a
neutral and unbiased source of information, AIIM serves the needs of its members
and the industry by providing educational opportunities, professional
development, reference and knowledge resources, networking events, and industry
advocacy.
AIIM’s Cornhusker Chapter is
currently setting up meeting dates, locations and speakers for the year.
The first meeting will be September 4th at the Holiday Inn Convention Center on
72nd and Grover. The topic will be on Microsoft SharePoint. The cost
will be $10 for active AIIM members and $20 for non-members. This includes
