The AIIM Awards Program recognizes the leaders, the innovators, and the dedicated members of our community. Award nominees test the boundaries of our industry, look to the future, respect the past, take risks, serve their profession, and welcome diversity of thought. This award recognizes individuals whose outstanding service over the last 12 months has benefited the advancement of Enterprise Content Management technology through AIIM chapters, national or international standards development, or other committee activities.

The Carl E. Nelson Best Practices Award was established to recognize excellence in the ECM field. The term "Best Practice" denotes a standard of excellence that has been achieved with an organization and refers to a process that can be quantified, adapted, and repeated.
