SharePoint for Collaboration Training Program

Course Descriptions

The SharePoint for Collaboration (SPC) Training Program consists of the following tracks:

  • SharePoint for Collaboration Practitioner (online or classroom training available)
    Covers concepts and technologies for using SharePoint 2010 as a collaboration platform. The Practitioner classroom sessions are always the first two days of the four-day master class.
  • SharePoint for Collaboration Specialist (online or classroom training available)
    Covers global best practices for integrating SharePoint 2010 into collaborative business processes, building upon the topics covered in the Practitioner track. Students who have earned the Practitioner designation may either take the online SPC Specialist course to earn the Specialist designation, or, register for the last two days of a four-day Master class as a Master Prep class.
  • SharePoint for Collaboration Master (classroom training)
    Provides a thorough understanding of SharePoint 2010 as a collaborative solution with the main elements from all of the above, in addition to case study exercises. No prior participation in other tracks is required to enroll.

The SharePoint for Collaboration Practitioner (SPC) Program identifies the core collaborative functionality provided by SharePoint 2010 out-of-the box. SPC Master program (Putting it all together)

4-day training class

The SharePoint for Collaboration Master Training Program comprises the main elements from the above training programs in addition to a case study exercise. The course provides complete coverage of the effective use of SharePoint 2010 for collaboration for professionals working in both the public and private sector.

Participants will use their newly gained knowledge to plan, design, and implement a SharePoint collaboration-driven project based on case study exercises and expertise learned from the Practitioner and Specialist Course programs.
