CLEVELAND – Sept. 1, 2010 – Hyland Software has purchased privately held Hershey Systems, a provider of Web-based ECM solutions focused primarily on the higher education market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Hershey Systems’ flagship product, Singularity, is a Web-based ECM software suite. It streamlines previously manual, mostly paper and traditionally slow business processes. Though mainly focused on higher education, Hershey Systems has a sizeable presence in other industries. For example, the company counts approximately 140 courts as customers, as well as another 100 in the commercial space.
