John Mancini, AIIM president, talks with Ray Davis, host of "Inside the Records Room" about getting educated about records management. Ray has 18 years of records management experience acquired by working for a multi-state banking organization with locations from Connecticut to Florida. Ray oversees the operations of their records management program, which was an in-house program servicing 28 locations in 1991, and is now a fully out-sourced program servicing 502 locations in 2009. Ray has a background in purchasing, which assists him in the records management process, as proper vendor evaluation is one of the keys to operating a successful records program.
