Welcome to ISO/TC 171 Technical Advisory Group (TAG)

Scope

The U.S. TAG develops and coordinates the U.S. positions on the development and review of standards developed under the auspices of TC 171 of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The TAG represents the United States at all ISO TC 171 meetings.

Committee Documents and Meeting Schedule

The next ISO/TC 171 meeting will take place May 21-25, 2012 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.  The Fall ISO/TC 171 PDF Working Group meetings will take place in Berlin, Germany at DIN's offices September 10-14, 2012.  Please contact Betsy Fanning if you would like to attend either of these meetings.

International Travel: ISO meeting attendees needing travel VISA's should visit the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for their country's specific travel requirements.

Letter of Invitation: Delegates requiring an official Letter of Invitation in order to obtain a VISA and authorization to attend the meeting should request that their country's ISO member body contact the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) at isot@ansi.org. The following information should be included in the email to ANSI: Delegate Name; Delegate Organization; Delegate Email Address; Delegate Date of Birth; Delegate Passport Number.
