User frustration with long-standing on-premise ECM systems is understandable. Clunky interfaces, difficult to set-up shared areas, poor support for collaboration with external partners, limited remote access, and no mobile device support all contribute to user frustration.
In this report we use findings from recent AIIM reports to show the issues that on-premise ECM users are facing, the need for external collaboration support, the cloud and mobile functionality that users are requesting, and the alternative scenarios that are being considered. We make a number of recommendations to support decision-making within best-practice standards.
