The AIIM Emerging Technologies Advisory Group (EmTAG) is a committee of AIIM members
charged with monitoring technology advances and assessing their impact on the AIIM community.
These technologies are typically new to the marketplace, or perhaps evolving in ways that
make them of greater interest to the membership. Composed of ECM users, consultants, and
integrators—each with diverse professional backgrounds—the EmTAG meets quarterly to hear
presentations regarding interesting products and services. These sessions result in a
variety of activities including contributions to the AIIM national conference, presentations
at chapter meetings, articles published in
Infonomics® Magazine and
other publications, and reports to the Board of Directors
for use in long range planning for the association.
The committee selects new members from applicants throughout the year; they (and their companies)
must commit to attending the quarterly meetings at venues throughout the country, and to
participate in other committee activities. The term of membership is three years.
Here's who's currently serving on the EmTAG committee.
