The aiim Ohio River Valley Chapter South is pleased to announce a local chapter meeting on December 4, 2007. The event will be held at Microsoft Corporations Columbus office.
With all of the media coverage and talk about Microsoft® Office SharePoint® Server 2007 and all of the hype regarding its capabilities, where does it really fit within enterprise content management scenarios? How well does it play with others?
Our speaker is Jeanette Prince, a Business Productivity Advisor with Microsoft Corporation that has 20+ years consulting experience and is a member of AIIM, IIBA, ISACA, ISSSP, and a Microsoft Office Specialist will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of a Microsoft only ECM environment, as well as the large established partner ecosystem which extend capabilities. The goals of the discussion are to:
- Provide an overview of the capabilities Microsoft offers
- Review where partners provide industry and point solutions
- Discuss integration with existing and popular ECM pure play applications
