CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR THE
AIIM BOARD OF DIRECTORS
We are currently accepting nominations for candidates to serve on the AIIM Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning January 2013. The first Board meeting for selected candidates will be as a guest at the November 28-29 meeting.
Candidate qualifications include:
a) knowledge of key industry trends and requirements;
b) demonstrated commitment to AIIM and the industry;
c) Willingness to attend 3-4 Board meetings per year;
d) Experience in strategic planning, implementation, and budgeting;
e) AIIM Professional Member, current non-members may join at www.aiim.org/join.
Nominations may be submitted by the individual or by a supporter of the nominee. Nominations need to include the following to be considered complete:
a) current resume
b) brief statement from the nominee regarding the role and value they believe AIIM can play over the next 2-3 years.
c) one page statement regarding what the nominee could bring to AIIM's Board of Directors
d) two letters of support
Completed nominations and letters of support can be sent to Betsy Fanning, Director of Standards and Chapter Relations; questions may also be directed to her.
Deadline for nominations is Friday, September 14th.
