John F. Mancini
President
John F. Mancini joined AIIM in May 1996. Prior to joining AIIM, Mancini spent 11 years in various positions at the American Electronics Association in Washington, D.C., most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He has also served as Executive Director of the Foundation for Public Affairs. He holds a bachelor's degree from the College of William and Mary and a master's degree from Princeton University.
Mancini is a frequent speaker at meetings and conferences throughout the world on various topics focused on trends in the technology marketplace and the evolving and expanding role of information professionals in helping organizations build effective information management strategies.
Mancini blogs under the title "Digital Landfill", is an active participant on multiple social networks (usually as “jmancini77”), and is the author of a series of "8
things you need to know" books.

Atle Skjekkeland
Chief Operating Officer
Atle Skjekkeland joined AIIM in 2004 as Managing Director for its European operation, was
promoted to Vice President for AIIM in 2006, and became Chief Operating Officer in 2011. He is responsible
for marketing, sales, delivery, and support of all AIIM products and services, which include events,
webinars, training, research, and membership.
Atle is the architect and driving force behind AIIM’s Certificate programs, which have had
20,000+ course attendees over the last 5 years. He has delivered workshops across the world, and established
training partnerships on almost all continents. He is also the architect behind the new Information
Certification introduced in 2011 and available worldwide via Prometric exam centers.
An early adopter of social media to improve member communication, brand exposure, and Web
traffic; over the last few years he has developed AIIM’s strategy for using the Web as a platform for
education and networking.
Atle holds a Master’s degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and has 15+ years of
experience working within IT. He is eager to find new ways technologies can add value, disrupt markets, and
create a blue ocean opportunity. Atle is also interested in the future for information workers with improved
usability, mobility, knowledge sharing, and retention.
Renowned as a very energetic and lively speaker, Atle is frequently asked to present at AIIM,
Gartner, and industry conferences throughout the world. His background as one of the most experienced and
well-known ECM trainers in the world makes him knowledgeable in a wide range of topics.

Cheryl McKinnon
Vice President, Marketing
Cheryl joined AIIM in 2012 as VP of Marketing, with the goal of helping the association raise the profile
of the emerging role of the “information professional” and promoting AIIM as a global community. She has held
senior positions with content management vendors such as Nuxeo, OpenText, and Hummingbird, and brings years
of market and requirements research in addition to experience in consulting and training. An active member of
industry associations such as AIIM and ARMA, Cheryl frequently contributes articles and opinions to online
and print publications and participates in industry conferences.
Cheryl has developed a keen interest in the challenges facing information professionals in the increasingly
electronic and online work environment. Her specialties include research, writing, and educating both
business and technical audiences on the trends in content and information management, social media for
business as well as open standards.
She holds degrees from Carleton University (M.A.) and University of Winnipeg (B.A. Hons) and has completed
coursework towards a PhD at University of Ottawa. She achieved her Certified Information Professional (CIP)
status in 2012.

Peggy Winton
Vice President
With 25 years of program, product, and business development experience, Peggy Winton is responsible for the strategic direction of all activities aimed at the supplier and channel communities of AIIM. She joined the Association in January, 2002 directly from Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), where she served as Business Developer and strategist for the Consulting Group. Prior to CSC, Winton was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for TTM, Inc., an international firm specializing in web-based and cooperative marketing programs. She earned a Bachelor's Degree from Randolph-Macon Woman's College and a Master's Degree from the University of Maryland.
An accomplished writer and speaker, she has authored numerous marketing-related newsletters and magazine columns, as well as developed key strategic plans for the Association. Winton speaks regularly at AIIM and AIIM partner conferences.
