Committees - Professional Advisory Council (PAC)

The PAC's mission is to provide a communication link between the chapter network, the Professional membership and the AIIM Board of Directors.

Members of the PAC:

Chris Riley , PAC Chair, AIIM Golden Gate, Cloudshare

Mr. Riley joined the PAC in 2008 after leading the Golden Gate chapter and its revitalization.  An active AIIM expert, he's a frequent speaker on capture on AIIM webinars and within the AIIM community.  Mr. Riley has authored AIIM user guides and checklists, and continues to serve as an advisor to AIIM Golden Gate.  In 2007, his contributions were recognized with an AIIM Distinguished Service Award.  Mr. Riley holds an ECMp and IOAp.

Geoff Erwin , AIIM Nevada, BEAR Data

Active with AIIM since 2004, Mr. Erwin joined AIIM as Professional Member in 2006 due to his involvement with the Greater Los Angeles AIIM Chapter.  Enthusiastic, he served as Vice President of the chapter from 2007-2008.  Then a job changed brought him to Las Vegas, an area where AIIM lacked a chapter.  Successfully, he worked with a team of AIIM Members to establish AIIM Nevada where he currently serves as President.  His leadership style, ideas, and dedication have has helped solidify the chapter as they enter their fourth year. 

Paul Fisher , AIIM Wisconsin, CCI, Inc.

Mr. Fisher, ECMP, AIIM MIT is a 3-time Past President of the AIIM-Wisconsin Chapter and has worked in the enterprise content management and business process outsourcing industries since 1988 in variety of sales and management capacities for organizations including Xerox, Pitney Bowes, Security MicroImaging and CCI.  Paul attended his first AIIM chapter meeting and AIIM conference in 1988. He has served as a chapter leader since 1991. His 20 years of experience in numerous chapter leadership roles has given him tremendous background with both the challenges and opportunities our chapters face.  Paul is a 2011 recipient of the AIIM Distinguished Service Award and currently serves as Vice-President of the AIIM Wisconsin Chapter.

Janet Huebner , AIIM Midwest, Pitney Bowes Management Services

Since 1993, Ms. Huebner has served in various leadership roles in the AIIM Midwest Chapter. She is the recipient of AIIM's Distinguished Service Award for her contributions to the chapter. As AIIM is ever-changing, Janet sees that the chapters will need to change too with education playing an even bigger role at the chapter level along with networking.

Craig Laue , AIIM Florida, ABBYY

Mr. Laue is an active member in AIIM activities and is President of the AIIM Florida Chapter in his twelfth term. On multiple occasions, he has served nationally on the AIIM Conference Committee as well as the Awards Committee. In 2008, he was bestowed AIIM’s Distinguished Service Award. Craig stays immersed in the latest trends and ECM industry practices. He frequently provides perspectives on the international application of forms processing and enterprise content management solutions in industry magazines and is a frequent speaker at industry-related conferences and shows.

Tom Motzel , AIIM Minnesota, Tesserae Talent Strategies

As an entrepreneur, net-worker and self proclaimed 'ECM enthusiast,' Mr. Motzel's passions led to the creation of Tessaerae Talent Strategies; a placement firm focused on bringing experienced candidates to ECM vendors. His unique focus was the catalyst for an invitation to the AIIM Minnesota Chapter board where he spent his first two years helping organize speakers for annual industry events. In 2009, Mr. Motzel was elected President of the chapter and introduced a new meeting format, Thirsty Thursdays. The format provides a casual and open format that encourages broader engagement among local information professionals. As a result of his pioneering spirit, he became a PAC member in 2010 and continues to help reinvigorate the role of local chapters.

Daniel O'Leary , AIIM Greater Los Angeles, Box

As an active member of AIIM Los Angeles, and an AIIM International Ambassador, Mr. O'Leary has seen the good and bad of working with a chapter from both angles. He is incredibly passionate about seeing AIIM grow and thrive, and sees the role of a local chapter as being critical to the success of the long term growth of AIIM. He has worked all over the world with groups and organizations to challenge the status quo, ask hard questions, and push them to improve. He is also well informed on the latest industry trends, emerging vendors, and topics that affect AIIM members.

Nicole Smith , PAC Vice Chair, AIIM Northwest, Hill International

With almost 20 years of experience in the industry, Ms. Smith has served as a chapter leader at several AIIM chapters including Gold Coast (now AIIM Florida), Rocky Mountain, and Northwest. She currently serves as an advisor at AIIM Northwest. Her experience and leadership capabilities have led to several speaking engagements and a position on the PAC from 2005-2007. Ms. Smith is the Document Control Manager at Hill International.

Shad White , AIIM Northwest, cloudPWR

Mr. White has 17+ years experience in the enterprise content management space from an engineering, product development, project management and business operations standpoint. He has served in executive capacities and is a capable public speaker. He brings value to the PAC by participation in helping to shape Chapters. He will continue to participate as a member of the social media community to promote the community, content, education and programs that AIIM provides.
